Experience and skills required for the job

•	Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA or CPA/ACA/ACCA preferred).
•	10 years’ experience in financial management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
•	Strong understanding of construction accounting, project costing, and revenue recognition.
•	Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems used in construction.
•	Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
•	Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
•	Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
•	Proven ability to manage financial risk in a project-based environment.

Job duties

•	Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy to support business growth and long-term stability.
•	Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for all construction projects.
•	Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial performance to ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation.
•	Lead financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
•	Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and construction industry requirements.
•	Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and external stakeholders.
•	Implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.
•	Evaluate financial risks and opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
•	Oversee procurement, contracts, and cost-control systems to optimize project margins.
•	Support project managers with financial analysis, cost tracking, and contract billing.
•	Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team to ensure high performance.
