Experience and skills required for the job
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. • 5 years’ experience in mechanical design, engineering, or related roles. • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA. • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, mechanics, fluid dynamics, and materials science. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Job duties
• Design and develop mechanical components, machinery, and systems based on project requirements. • Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and 3D models. • Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and stress analyses to validate designs. • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations of mechanical systems. • Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to support production processes. • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project plans. • Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines. • Research new materials, technologies, and methods to improve product performance and efficiency. • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients.
