•Diagnose computer problems to solve any technical issues. •Carryout software installation for Rigs computers to ensure maximum access. •Provide user support for the company Rigs and perform unscheduled visits when needed. • Monitor and follow-up IT hardware maintenance to troubleshoot all technology issues. •Ensure all IT Service Desk filing system is up-to-date and properly documented to provide consistency within the IT department •Ensure that each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, IP Phone to ensure technology is accessible. •Use control forms to monitor and Log IT equipment movements. •Follow up and arrange writing off junk and obsolete IT equipment to maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources. •Ensure that the IT store-room is clean and tidy at all times •Monitor and maintain agreed levels of IT stock items (toners, CD’s etc.) •Monitor, replace and install printers’ toners / drums. •Mount and connect the new hardware (IP phone, Printers, screen, CPU, etc.). •Prepare and configure the companyon Loan equipment according to IT Policy. •Follow the company Safety Management System Procedures & Instructions. •Use Control forms (Assets Transfer) to monitor and log IT equipment movement for the company rigs hardware. •Conduct other duties and responsibilities within the scope of this job description as required.
